Humans as a species have come to a point in our evolution that the future of our survival depends on choices we make collectively, whether we actively participate, or not.
A simple example would be the onset of a nuclear exchange. The repercussions of nuclear war could surely threaten human survival.
Just as important are the choices we make that impact the quality of our lives and those of our community. Our community has a garden that enhances the quality of food for the participants as well as provide a very nice area to enjoy being around green growing plants.
